NPR Digital Services has archived a great webinar on how to create audio for social media
ABC has launched a Facebook newscast, daily one minute videos solely produced for the social platform. This is an interesting experiment, but since its launch last night it’s gotten some negative feedback for looking like a repurposed on-air to web video. There is also doubt about how Facebook will surface this newscast — what happens to the people who see the newscast later in the day or even later? Should ABC take down the video after a few hours, to prevent the content from becoming outdated?
